SAAM Logistics operates bonded warehouses in Iquique, San Antonio and Valparaíso. They play a crucial role as primary customs zones in the import/export logistics chain. The San Antonio, Santiago, Puerto Montt and Punta Arenas logistics centers offer transportation, warehousing and other value-added services.
Located just 4.5 kilometers from the port, in the heart of Iquique’s duty-free industrial zone, the terminal is strategically located for providing import and export cargo services under the general and duty-free systems.
Located adjacent to ATI in the multi-operator terminal managed by Empresa Portuaria de Antofagasta, it has a static capacity to store 2,200 TEU and offers various services: handling, entry and exit of empty containers, container cleaning in accordance with port regulations, repairs in accordance with IICL standards or those of each shipping line, storage of empty containers, container transfer and inspections, ensuring continuous availability in optimal conditions and providing comprehensive support to the needs of shipping companies and customers.
Strategically located on the road out of the city of Valparaíso, in the Placilla de Peñuelas industrial area, this terminal is 95 kilometers from Santiago on Route 68 and near the beginning of the roadway known as La Pólvora. These are the two routes connecting the port and the capital city of Santiago.
Located 105 kilometers from Santiago in Barrancas, the terminal is adjacent to the port’s southern entrance and one kilometer from the highway leading to the capital. It offers excellent connectivity with consumption hubs in central Chile.
The SAAM Logistics San Antonio commercial terminal is located in Barrancas, 0.5 km from the entrance to the STI and DPW ports. Its 57,830 m2 surface area and 16 warehouses are used to store and pack bulk cargo for use in domestic production and raw materials exports.
In the municipality of Renca, the logistics center is located less than 6 km from highways and major roadways (Autopista Central, General Velázquez and Vespucio Norte). It features 110,000 m2 of surface area, 25,000 m2 of warehouse space and a railway spur inside the terminal to transport import/export cargo directly from San Antonio.
Located along Route 5 South, 13 km from the Puerto Montt airport and 5 km from the city’s port, this logistics terminal’s 67,000 m2 surface area and 6,000 metric ton storage capacity supports logistics for frozen products and general cargo.
With 15,000 m2 of surface area and 5,000 m2 of warehouse space, the strategic location of the Punta Arenas logistics terminal in Chile’s extreme south facilitates access to international and regional markets. Located inside Puerto Mardones in the Catalina Bay area north of Punta Arenas, the center provides safe, efficient multimodal transportation and cargo logistics solutions.
